Khaman Dhokla

Ingredients:

gram flour 1 cup
crystal citric acid 1 tea spoon 
salt 1/2 table spoon 
baking soda 1 tea spoon 
sugar 2 table spoon 
turmeric 1/4th table spoon 
oil 2 table spoon 
mustard seeds 1 tea spoon 
green chilli 1
curry leaves 5-6
water 
fresh coriander leaves 1 table spoon 

Method:



Take gram flour in a bowl and add crystal citric acid ,salt ,turmeric and mix it nicely.Add water little by little and make a smooth bater till crystal of citric acid melt completely.Heat water in steamer along with oil greased tray.Add baking soda and mix it in one direction for 30 seconds when bater becomes fluffy and airy pour it in tray and steam it for 15 minutes.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds ,curry leaves, sugar, and 100ml water.Pour sugar water on to steamed Dhokla. Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves.

Serving:

Serve this delicious Gujarati Khaman Dhokla with Kadhi and sev on top.This can be enjoyed in breakfast or lunch anytime you want.
